In a short time of about 4 decades, Dubai emerged as an admirable tourist hub in the gulf region. It is but a city like no other. Dubai offers a blend of old and mostly the new city structure and the culture. The options to visit and enjoy are mind-boggling comparable to any other tourist destination of choice. That’s why the City has the merit of claiming itself a City of Gold. The unique feature of Dubai is its diversity. It is one of the metropolises where local inhabitants live as a minority. Mostly the population comes from diverse global cultures and ethnic backgrounds. That truly makes it a diverse global village.
Best Visit Time in Dubai
Visiting Dubai for a “beat the heat” trip is not appropriate. Summer is the time to visit Europe, Turkey, Russia, and Canada. Dubai is an ideal place to explore in winter. It primarily is a desert site best fit for the cold season. Freezing yourself in an indoor controlled temperature when the outdoor touches to boiling point is not wise.
The best time to visit Dubai that I can suggest is between November to March. So better to March towards Dubai before the start of March. Book a yacht and explore the City of Gold in a golden way. The weather is pleasant, and the city is full of lively happy tourists from all over the world.
Know the Culture
Know the culture where you plan to visit. It is a way to educate yourself about the place where you intend to go. It is true for every tourist destination but particularly specific for Dubai. The city is extremely tolerant, but “extreme tolerance” has its limits. Your knowledge of culture will help you to know and respect those limits.
Sincerely what I can suggest at top priority is to abstain from cursing. There must be no disgraceful body gestures. As for your clothes, the city has its parts and places to wear the more conservative and more bold dresses. The beach is best to get “out of clothes” except for a bathing suit. Be careful to dress formally before leaving the beach. Covering gracefully for women and men is mandatory if you plan a trip to a mosque.
Make a list of your priority places. Be mentally and physically ready for adventures. Dubai is full of places that you must see. You only cover 2-3 sites a day and if you hire yacht rental Dubai services, it may also take your whole night to get non-stop fun. The list will help you sort out what you explore in day-life and what you set for nightlifefor nightlife. Every place is not equally attractive for every person. Be sure of your choice.
- First-time visitors need to read helping guides on tourist websites.
- Better you hire a tourist company in Dubai to arrange and plan your trip. Joining a group trip is a wise decision if it is your first time.
- Your first trip only opens up an introductory chapter of the city.
- Familiarizing yourself with the city needs a follow on a trip.
- The City is not shy but fullest of options to reveal itself on a first trip alone.
The City Landmarks
Avoiding spoiling your trip I mention a few attractions categorized for ease of your selection. Sure you find it useful for making your list by your budget and available time. I suggest names of places and attractions alone. Intentionally I am not adding details that you need to explore yourself.
The list below is just for the prominent attractions. It does not cover the whole bunch of tourist places in the city. There are many more places you need to explore once you start wandering in the world of wonders.
